Outside.
This
is a privately-owned, beautiful, sunny ground floor apartment in a
small, established, quiet neighbourhood in the exclusive La Parata area
of Mojacar on the Almeria coast in southeast Spain. The luxury flat was
fully refurbished in late 2004 and has a new split air conditioning and
heating unit in the living room plus fans in both bedrooms, making it
ideal for year-round holiday rentals.
The Living room and Sun Room
A
large, sunny living room is equipped with satellite colour TV and DVD
player giving you access to EU programs and news. There is also a
CD/radio player for your enjoyment. We have left a generous selection
of DVD movies and music CDs that will entertain all ages. You will also
find books and games in the cupboards for your amusement. Adjoining the
living room, through French doors, is a lovely sun room with a
sofa-bed, giving you space enough to sleep six people in this
comfortable apartment.
The Kitchen
The
sunny and bright kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances,
including a full-size oven, hob, micro-wave oven, kettle, toaster,
coffee-maker, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator with freezer
compartment, with all the cutlery, pots and pans, mugs, glasses and
dishes that will help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The Bedrooms
This
lovely Spanish holiday home has two recently renovated bedrooms, one
with a new double bed and the other with brand new twin beds, with
built-in cupboards affording plenty of hanging space and double-folding
patio doors. Each bedroom has two bed-side reading lamps and a ceiling
fan. There are two newly renovated and fully equipped bathrooms; one
has a brand new glassed in shower cubicle while the other has a large
bath-tub with a new shower unit.
Outside
Leaving
the apartment by the sun room, you will enter the shared spacious rear
garden area where there is a built-in barbeque along with a patio table
and chairs for your use. On the patio are orange and pomegranate trees
and a breath-taking view of the Almeria mountains that surround this
quiet residential, Mojacar development. We have installed a brand new
washing machine, which is enclosed and covered here in the rear patio
area, to make your stay even more comfortable.
The Pool
As
part of your rental fee, you will have free access to the "members
only" large swimming pool and tennis courts that are right across the
street from our front door. We have left four tennis racquets (2 adult
size and 2 junior size) as well as a good selection of beach toys, surf
boards and folding beach chairs in the apartment for your enjoyment.
The Bar La Parata and El Corlico restaurant adjoin the swimming pool
area. Lykes Bar & Restaurant and small shops are also within easy
walking distance of the apartment and members' club.
The Beaches
The
Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful beaches or playa are less than 1 km
away by car (less than a 3 minute drive) or by foot (about a 15 minute
walk). There are elegant as well as comfortable Spanish, British and
Irish owned and operated restaurants and friendly pubs all along the
beach in this part of Mojacar. There are stunning sea views from many
of the restaurants and pubs year-round. The Mojacar beach or playa
itself stretches for 7 km and has the famous "Blue Flag" status.
Bath
towels and bed linens are provided with this luxury rental flat. But we
would appreciate it if you would bring your own beach towels with you
on holiday. Shopping is very close by and there is an almost unlimited
choice of restaurants and pubs catering to every type of cuisine that
one could desire from Indian and Chinese to authentic British, Irish,
Spanish and other national dishes.
